Island of Kolocep (or Kalamota ) is the southernmost inhabited island in Dalmatia and the closest to the city of Dubrovnik. It has a regular ferry lines to the City which is just 25 minutes away. This small island of the rich maritime and fishing history is an oasis of untouched nature and peace. On the island there is no cars, only two villages, situated on opposite sides of the island, away from each other are only 15 minutes of the beautiful walks through the former fields and olive groves. Old trails provide the possibility of all-day walks and discovering all traces of what was for centuries the Mediterranean. Kolocep has numerous bays that provide an opportunity for everyone to find their own place for swimming and diving in the crystal clear sea. Two sandy beaches in the two largest bays are ideal for families with children. On the island there are two restaurants, two coffee bars, a pizzeria, post office, shops and a hotel. For those who want see more it is possible to arrange a half-day and full day trips to Dubrovnik and on the other islands. "House" is a traditional Dalmatian stone house, located in the middle of the old village, only 150 m from the sea. It was completely renovated with natural materials - stone and wood.
